Český Šternberk

The history of the Český Šternberk Castle began in 1240 and it is inherently connected with the important aristocratic House of Šternberk. The Sternbergs built the castle and still own it after almost eight centuries. The castle dominates the beautiful landscape around the Sázava River, which attracts hikers and people interested in water sports and fishing.
